The last truck I saw on FSC that had "big" tires, 22s, and a 2/4 drop had fenders that weren't looking so hot. A 295/40R24 tire is 33.3" in diameter. I imagine they barely fit at stock height on a 2wd, if at all. That tire is damn near too big for a 4wd.You can lower the front suspension of Silverado by up to 4 inches drop. Sep 2, 2011 · personally id go with a 3/4 drop and 22's. im dropped 3/4 and i run 24s with 305/35 tires. im glad my trucks not my DD because i rub a bit if i hit a bump with my tires turned. i dont rub bad at all but just a little. i wouldn't be able to haul heavy loads at all. i say hauling a quad would be about as much as i could load without rubbing. im thinking of keeping my 24's but also buying a set ... go with 24s. The 285/35/22 would be the better choice but with a 30mm offset the wheels will be right at the wheel well lip.
